products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The liability of
Datalogic Inc. (Datalogic) under this warranty is limited to furnishing labor and parts necessary to remedy the defect covered by this
warranty and restore the product to normal operating condition. This Warranty does not extend to any product which, in the sole
judgment of Datalogic, has been subject to accidental damage, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modication, or improper installation.
Products are sold on the basis of specications applicable at the time of manufacture, and Datalogic has no obligation to modify or
update products once sold. A minimum repair fee may be charged if there is “No Problem Found” with the unit returned for warranty
repair.
The warranty shall extend from the time of shipment for the duration published by Datalogic for the product at the time of purchase
“Warranty Period.” In order to obtain service under Factory Warranty, Customer must notify Datalogic of the claimed defect before the
expiration of the applicable Warranty Period and obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA) from the Datalogic RMA department
before the product may be returned. The product must be returned to the applicable Datalogic Repair center, shipping prepaid by
Customer, with the RMA Number marked on the top of the box. Failure to obtain an RMA number may result in a processing fee. If
Datalogic determines the product failed due to defects in material or workmanship, Datalogic will repair or replace the product (at
Datalogic’s option) without additional charge for parts and labor. Datalogic shall pay for the return of the product (via ground freight)
to Customer if the shipment is to a location within the country in which the Datalogic service center is located. Customer shall be
responsible for paying all shipping charges, duties, taxes, and any other charges for products returned to any other locations. Turn-
around times for all products under Factory Warranty is typically 10 Datalogic business days from date of receipt (excluding transit
time).
DATALOGICS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ORAL OR WRITTEN, STATUTORY
OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. Datalogic SHALL NOT BE LAIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY CUSTOMER ARISING FROM
DELAY IN THE REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF PRODUCTS UNDER THE ABOVE WARRANTY.
Returning Products for Warranty Service
To make a claim under this limited warranty, obtain a Return Authorization number (RMA) from the Datalogic RMA department and
return the product, shipping prepaid, with the Return Authorization number marked on the top of the box to the applicable Datalogic
Repair center. Failure to obtain a RMA number may result in a processing fee. Datalogic will repair or replace the product and return it
via ground freight prepaid within the United States. Shipping upgrades are to be paid by customer.
Quick-Replacement
Datalogic offers a Quick-Replacement (QRP) program for products listed in the Warranty and Service Options table. Products covered
by Datalogic’s QRP program will receive a new or refurbished replacement unit before the defective equipment is returned to Datalogic.
Replacement equipment is sent from Datalogic within one business day of notication by customer. Datalogic pays for overnight
shipping for next business day delivery. Datalogic must be notied by 12:00 Noon (PST Monday-Friday on Datalogic standard business
days) to ensure overnight delivery. QRP outside the United States is available through a custom quote. Please call Datalogic for
information.
Service Plus 2-Day
Datalogic will repair or replace the defective unit within 2 business days of its arrival (excluding transit time). Datalogic pays shipping
both ways via air freight prepaid service within the US. Shipping upgrades are to be paid by customer.
Service Plus 5-Day
Datalogic will repair or replace the defective unit within ve business days of its arrival (excluding transit time). Customer pays for
shipping to Datalogic. Return shipping is paid by Datalogic via ground freight-prepaid service within the United States. Shipping
upgrades are to be paid by customer.
Renewal or Out-Of-Warranty Coverage
Service Plus 2-Day, Service Plus 5-Day and Quick Replacement warranty are renewable for successive periods of twelve (12) months,
thirty (30) days prior to expiration of warranty period. After expiration of warranty period or coverage, SP2, SP5 and the Quick
Replacement warranty is available only with payment of a one-time sign on fee prorated for the period out-of- warranty or upon
factory inspection of the unit to be placed on contract. An inspection fee may be charged.
